Yes. Radiant is grounded in the Christian faith. All families are required to affirm our Statement of Faith before enrolling. Our classes are taught in alignment with our Statement of Faith and our community is built on shared Christian values.

Yes — Radiant is a parent-run co-op. There are no drop-offs. At least one parent or legal guardian from each enrolled family must be present for the entire Monday session, including events and field trips. All parents in attendance are expected to serve in a volunteer capacity.

Yes, all families are expected to particpate in the full day.

Radiant has three types of fees: a family enrollment fee of $175 annually, a per-student fee of $15 per student, and class fees that range from $0-$40 per class. Costs for field trips and sports camps are separate from the cost that are billed when you sign up. Enrollment and student fees are due before registration and are non-refundable. Class fees are assessed after you register for classes and must be paid two weeks before the start of each semester. Current fee amounts are posted in the Radiant app.

Enrollment fees and per-student fees are non-refundable. Class fees are non-refundable once classes have begun. If you need to withdraw before classes start, please email admin@radianthomeschool.com as soon as possible.

We consider mid-year enrollment on a case-by-case basis depending on class availability and capacity. Reach out to us at admin@radianthomeschool.com and we’ll let you know what’s available.

We have a variety of ways for parents to serve: • Hall Leader — monitors hallways and manages safety communication • Teacher — leads a class for the semester • Co-Teacher — partners with a lead teacher • Teacher’s Aid — supports teachers in the classroom • Cleaning Team — helps reset rooms at the end of each session • Events and Field Trips — helps plan and coordinate outings • Hospitality — welcomes families and helps with check-in

Please notify leadership through the Radiant app as early as possible. If you teach or co-teach a class and expect to miss more than 2 weeks in a semester, we ask that you arrange for a qualified co-teacher to cover those sessions. If you anticipate missing more than 4 weeks, we’d encourage you to step back from teaching that semester and re-enroll the following semester.

Please keep your child home if they have had a fever within the last 24 hours or are showing symptoms of a contagious illness. If a child becomes ill during a session, we will notify the parent and the family will need to leave. Please alert a board member or hall leader before leaving with a sick child.

Radiant maintains the following safeguards every Monday: • All adults must complete Safety Training and Background Checks annually • Two adults are present in every room where children are present • No child is left unsupervised at any time • Hall Leaders with walkie-talkies monitor hallways and building access • All participants have completed background checks and annual safety training

Course content and materials must not contradict the beliefs outlined in our Statement of Faith. However, not all classes offered are faith-based. This applies across all subjects including science, history, literature, and health. Teachers review their materials prior to each semester to ensure alignment. All classes taught at Radiant require board member approval.

Class offerings vary each semester based on parent volunteers and family interest. Classes are posted in the Radiant app when registration opens. Because our classes are parent-taught, the selection reflects the talents and interests of our community. The primary focus will be on enrichment courses.

You don't need to be a Radiant member or affirm the Statement of Faith to join us at Sports Camps. You just need to be ready to have fun and treat people well. We ask all attendees to use clean language, show good sportsmanship, and respect everyone and everything around them.
